Meditation Yoga


Introduction

Meditation is a practice to help calm the mind, reduce stress and enhance overall well-being. Meditation involves focusing on the breath to cultivate mindfulness. Focusing the mind on a single object, rejecting any thoughts and to be fully present in the moment. Benefits of Meditation : Reduces stress, Meditation is well known for stress reducing effects, which in hand helps lower cortisol levels and help against stress effects on the body. Meditation can help decrease anxiety levels. Enhances mood, helps cultivate positivity and self-discipline. Enhances self-awareness, training the mind to focus and redirect thoughts, which promotes self awareness. Lengthens Attention span, regular practice of Meditation can improve concentration and attention. May help reduce memory loss, there’s been some evidence that suggests Meditation may help maintain cognitive function as we age.
